Volunteers will be handing out packaged meals that are being prepared and donated by Wicked Weed Brewing’s Foods that Build Program. Food Connection in Asheville has partnered with Wicked Weed to connect and distribute these meals to folks in need.
What: Prepared meals refrigerated in individual to-go containers.
Where: Big Sandy United Methodist Church Parking lot (in front of the SMCC).
When: Every Tuesday from 4 to 5:30 pm. (at least through June 30th).
How:
- Please have a space cleared out in your trunk or back of your truck for us to put meals in, a box or other container is ideal to keep them safe.
- Please pull up with trunk open (when possible).
- Stay in your car!
- Using your hands, please inform the volunteers of how many folks in your household that will be receiving a meal.
- Please drive away and exit the property, no gatherings are allowed on the parking lot or grounds.
