Community Celebration
Our monthly bingo gatherings from October through March have been a tremendous success! These events have become much more than just games – they’re about building our community one event at a time.
There’s something truly special about the people of SMCC. They show up every month with food to share and stories to tell. Everyone always pitches in at the end of the night to clean up and restore the gym for the next event.
This year has been particularly meaningful. Right after the flooding, our community came out to bingo in record numbers, finding comfort and connection in a safe place during a difficult time.
Thank You to Our Volunteers & Supporters
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to:
- The many volunteers who consistently show up to organize and plan these events
- Local businesses like Grateful Roots who provided trays of delicious sandwiches that everyone loved
- Lisa for her incredible culinary contributions month after month
- Jim for being our enthusiastic bingo caller
- Everyone who brings food, helps with setup and cleanup, and creates our warm atmosphere
We Miss You!
If you haven’t been to bingo in a while, remember you are always welcome, and everyone would love to see you! Our community isn’t complete without you.
Join us this Saturday for food, fun, and friendship as we celebrate the end of our winter bingo season with Irish spirit!
💚 Wear something green and join the celebration! 💚

In Memory of Bob Campbell
As we gather for this final winter bingo of the season, we want to take a moment to remember our dear friend Bob Campbell, who recently passed away. Bob was a cherished member of our community whose warm smile and generous spirit touched so many of us.
Bob rarely missed a bingo night and was always ready with a helping hand, a kind word, and that wonderful laugh we all came to love. While we celebrate our community gathering, we also acknowledge the empty chair where Bob would have been. His absence is deeply felt, but we know he would want us to continue building the community connections he valued so much.
In true Irish fashion, let’s raise a toast to our friend Bob during our celebration.
May his memory be a blessing to us all.
